germs are in the air and they're everywhere! but most germs are fine, in fact some can be very beneficial to your immune system and the planet (more on this in another post). bacteria are resilient little beasts that have been around since the dawn of so long ago no one can even say and they multiply in packs of billions. the growing use of hand sanitizer in the last 20 years has actually caused some of the super strong germs to adapt a tolerance for sanitizers, even without the use of antibiotics. this is where the magic of plants comes in to the rescue! the chemical compounds in plants (phytochemicals) are complex and vary greatly making it harder for the germs to develop new traits in order to survive! using multiple essential oils from antimicrobial plants not only gives us the upper hand it also makes sanitizer life smell fantastic!
